20th May 2010

Woke up early in the morning-

Mom was a little worried that I didn’t eat well (of course it means, drink well…lol) and she took me to the doctor. The doctor said that I am doing okay. He sensed a mild jaundice and advised us to see him again tomorrow evening. He said that it is okay for kids of my age to get jaundice.

Anne aunt-mom’s church friend came to see me. She is one of the most adorable person I have met so far. Remember-she is the one who arranged the baby shower for me in the church?

(Below: Mom and Anne Aunty holding me. Mom has put up a bit of weight it seems, but she still looks very pretty. Mwah!!  :) )

Dad, dadi and bua took the entire day to fix the cot for me :) (Don’t miss out the pictures) they had no idea on how to put it together, because it looked all very complicated in the beginning. The instruction material was poorly made and was of no help.

After trying very hard for some time, Bua thought of calling a carpenter to fix, and then dad told me that his boss is a carpenter and He will help! Initially I didn’t understand what he was referring to, and then it enlightened me that he was talking about our Lord Jesus Christ :) Indeed, He helped. After several hours of toil, they were able to fix the beautiful cot for me.

(Below: My cot :)...still not completely done )

I like the wonderful “mobile for bed” that hangs above my pillow and plays the music as the toys attached to it revolve. The icing on the cake was the white mosquito net that covers the entire cot. It looks like a veil…lol!

(Below: That's my baby gym...lol...I like the multi colored pea-cock that Angela Aunt got me for the baby shower. I am so much in love with them :)

I think I feel better with the water cooler instead of an air conditioner. I slept like a baby for long….lol

And then in the evening, our neighbors came to see me. 3 of them were little girls and they played with me and rolled in my baby gym. Dad gave them some candies and took their pictures while they were having fun.

(Below: That's Kanchi didi, Riya didi and Priya didi OR I guess Priya didi and Ria didi...oops! I am so confused. well, they are twins. One of them is Riya didi and other is Priya didi)

(Below: That's the wonderful pram Sarah Aunty and David Uncle got for me when I was still not out. It has so many functions. Dad hasn't even tried any of them as he is not sure if he can explore all of them..lol.. I so wish I could meet them once. They moved to the US a few weeks before I came out)

(Below: This is the toy that Dad got for mommy when they weren't yet married. Dad told that this is what he got for mommy on her birthday and he got it straight into her office at Convergys. As much as Mommy was happy with the HUGE gift, she was a little embarrassed with it in the office...It's all MINE now....lol!! )

(Below: Dadi and Nani..all geared up....lol..they are very tired. Dadi has been taking care of the kitchen)

In the night, the air conditioner plug conked off, but thank God that it was fixed before I went to sleep!

I had a good night sleep..wow!
