Life is strange. Some people enjoy it and at the same time, others don’t! I believe everyone gets an opportunity, equally. But at times, I have this question in my mind, “What kind of an opportunity do the poor people get?” They don’t have enough to eat; they earn for their daily bread and live a life “daily”; yet they still “live”. They have no savings. They do not have their closets full of various kinds of clothes. They don’t have their refrigerators over flowing with food. They do not have cars, oh forget about cars…they may not even have bicycles! No healthcare or insurance! They just live their life daily. They earn a daily wage, eat from it and sleep in the night. My mind has a question: What is the difference between them and me? I think that the only difference is “I was born in this family and they were born in a different one!” I would be living their life had I been born in their family. God is good, all the time. He gave me birth in my lovely family. And I am so thankful. How many times do we even think about it? At times, I feel isn’t it an insecure life that they live? How can one be so relaxed when one doesn’t have “enough”? I guess the word “enough” is the culprit here. “Enough” is a very subjective term and used interchangeably in various occasions to create suspicion in our hearts and be discontented with our possessions. For me “enough” could be a day’s bread and a lovely and healthy family under my roof; whereas some people have millions of rupees and yet not content! They don’t find it “enough”. I guess “enough” is never enough in a world full of materialistic obsessions. However, God’s grace is “enough”! Unless we are tied to the Almighty, our hearts can never be really content. Materialistic things bring peace and pleasure- but for a short while. The happiness that comes out of attaining a material is gone shortly after attained. The only thing that can satisfy the quench of a human heart is the connection with God. My favorite line, which is also my daddy’s favorite line: Where God guides, He provides. We need to trust Him with all our heart and faith and He will make our path straight. He will fill our hearts with love and peace and that makes us like what we have. Dear God, I want to take a minute to thank you very much for this wonderful life. I thank you for your connection with me and blessing me with such a wonderful family; touching our lives with love. Making our hearts so content with your Grace, because with It, we have “enough” to fulfill us with peace and joy. O, Father! Thanks much. In Jesus’s name I pray-Amen!
Yes, you guessed it so right! I’ve been really very busy doing lot of things these days thus I wasn’t able to work on the blog. Here are the pictures:
