17th September 2010-Turned 4 months old today :)

Today is Thursday, the 17th of September.

Yes, it is my 4th month birthday today!! Yay!!


Can't believe I am only 4 months old so far. It feels like being here for longer... lol


It's also mommy's off day at work. She gets to take some casual leave like that. I am glad that she could, today. So, mommy and I woke up early today. She gave me a massage and a bath and then dressed me so nicely. I am smelling good (as always :) )


Dad has to go to work today. He doesn't get that many leave at work, especially in the quarter ends, which is usually a busy season for him.


Initially mommy was thinking of baking a chocolate cake at home (something on the lines of what she and dad had tried a few days ago) but eventually they decided NOT to take a chance for the fact if the cake didn't turn up that good, it would be a messy situation:) especially on my birthday :) So sweet! So, they ordered the cake from Nirulas. 


Daddy held me in his arms as they cut the Chocolate Truffle cake for me and along with me :) Very soon, I'll be old enough to do this myself, daddy; and then you'll cherish this sweet memory when you read this blog again may be a few years down the line :)


Parents do so much for the kids. I can see that right now. But we aren't as grateful to God and our parents as much as we should be. Especially moms are a true blessing. Moms can wake up for the kids any time of the day or night without caring about their sleep or food or anything. They have a special way of caring for their kids, which can't be replicated, even by the dads! I simply love my parents...Mwah!!


And..you know of my sweet and crazy little family....they just need no occasion to take pictures....and it's my birthday today...so, you can imagine what it would have been like....they took loads of pictures today!!


It's been a very blessed and fulfilling day. Thanks Jesus for making it so perfect.
