Today is Saturday, 18th September-a day after my 4th month birthday. It's also Vivek Chachu's birthday today. I woke up pretty early in the morning as I usually do :) Mom was awake with me. She gave me a massage and bath quite early in the morning and then kept on moving between the rooms and then outside the house, etc. to play with me. She's always goes an extra mile to make me feel happy and comfort me. She's so sweet! Mwha..! I love ya Mommy! All this while dad was asleep..HUH! He came a bit late in the night (or rather early in the morning). Ashish chachu..(if you remember from my previous posts-dad's office friend who come over to see me when I was only a few days old) left dad's office as he has plans to go and work in Dubai. Dad says that he is one of the best office colleagues' he has ever worked with. Dad felt sad as Ashish Chachu was leaving, but glad at the same time that he was leaving for something good. So, Harsh Chachu and dad celebrated his farewell and thus dad got a bit late in coming back home after work.
Mommy felt bad that dad kept on sleeping for long in the day because she'd wanted him to spend some quality time with us.
Dad woke up almost in the evening. And then he had plans for us to visit Vivek Chachu's house. I was excited to go and meet them. It was a long time since I met with Nozu :)
We got late in reaching their house as 1) we couldn't leave on time (as always..huh!), and 2) the roads in Gurgaon are really bad especially after the recent rains.
Vivek Chachu's cousins had also come over to wish him, out of which one of his cousin happened to celebrate his birthday on the same day as Vivek Chachu. So, we were expecting double fun :)
They'd made some home baked Chocolate Truffle cake and had a fruit cake ordered from a bakery. The cakes were awesome. I wish I could taste them though.... :( After they cut the cake, it was time to dance!! Well, what else do you expect from hard core Punjabis :) :) :) Yay! Well, I didn't dance and neither did mom or dad, but it was fun to see some really happy souls dancing their hearts out :) Dad took some pictures and videos.
Nozu didi was busy with her set of new magical books :) from which she is learning a lot. The newest thing she's learned is to speak " I am not crying..I am just drawing" in American accent...Whoa!! You have to just see her saying this line and you can't believe it :)
After they cut the cake, we went over for dinner to my parent's and Utreja's favorite joint-Chinese Bite @ Chankya Puri. These guys love their Chinese food; especially the steamed chicken momos and chicken lollipops. I haven't tasted it yet (he he he) but I can think they must be good, because they smell good. I'll eat them sooner or later, once I grow up :)
Had a good time at the dinner and then we drove back to Gurgaon where dad picked up his car from Vivek Chachu's house and we came back home at around midnight. Going to bed now as we have an early day tomorrow. We'll be going to the church-It's Sunday!!! :)
