Hello ya'll!
How are you doing!
I know it's been really long since I plugged in. It's good to be back :)
Dad and mom have been really busy for the last few months.
There were quite a few positive things going around here which kept all of us busy.
First, God has been so nice to us. He has blessed us with a DDA flat that too in Vasant Kunj-and that too an HIG flat. Dad filled up the application form last year on the 24th Decemeber (mind the date :) ). He filled it up in fluke (it was his first time ever) and had all the reasons for not filling, it up because everything starting from the availability of the paper forms in the bank to paying the fee to being in the endless "Indian" queue (you know what I mean :) )to being rejected at the bank last hour because of filling up the application real late to almost everything, was working just against him. BUT God guided him at each and every step. He was there with dad helping him through each and every process-step by step. And one fine day after so many months of filling the form, we got to learn that the lucky draw had my dad's name in it. Wow!! God is simply great! Jesus you are awesome! Dad had tears in his eyes when he first learned about it. Dad says that he knows that God has blessed him with more than he deserves and that's what makes his cup full (it overflows with joy). I don't know what that means now (being the toddler I am :) ) but I'll know it sooner or later when I grow up :)
And then, we moved in to a nice and spacious three bed room apartment. within Gurgaon. Wow, I love it here. It's different (for good) to be living around people. The other house we stayed at, I barely knew anybody around. Even our 4 year old neighbors were strangers (yeah yeah.. like I've been here for the past 4 years, eh?) I get my own room-actually I took over Mini Bua's room after her marriage :) ) Mommy and Daadi have been very busy decorating my room with so much of passion for the last two months :) I love them very much :)
And then Mini Bua got married. It was so much of pressure on Dad and others, but like Dad always says "Where God guides, He provides" :) Wow-the marriage was an experience of it's kind. There were so many things to be done and practically speaking no one felt the pinch of a singe thing. Arranging for the money, banquet, shopping, last minute shopping (lol), jewelry, making sure everything goes right, etc. etc... and the list is almost a never ending one. The good part is that it all was done very appropriately and with high dignity. Everyone loved each and every bit of the celebration. Who else could have done that? Once again, the hand of God made it possible. Thank you Jesus :)
So, now when I am (virtually) back :) I hope to be more regular in my updates.
Oh, so to quickly catch up with what all I've learned in the past few months (and things that you've missed out on)?
1. I learned to say Papa (Papa wanted me to call him Dad, but I like addressing him as "Papa"-that's cool-isn't it? :) I say it like 500 times a day and my dad loves to hear it each and every time :) Love ya dad (aka Papa- I better get used to the new word now) :)
2. I learned to maneuver Papa's iPad with more ease :) What all can I do with it? I can unlock the iPad (As you know, it's a two step process and oh, I guess I've been doing that since I was 9 months old :) :) I can go right into Youtube and play the videos from history :) Not only that, I can change the videos as well :) I can run a drawing application and Tom Cat (ah--my favorite) independently :) Wow, that's too much for a 16 month old babe :) Yeah, that's what dad feels-so he kind of confiscated the iPad today despite a strong confrontation from Daadi and Mommy .. :( He says that there is only a limited exposure that kids my age are supposed to be given to technical gadgets like these :( Booo... I don't like that Papa :( But I'll learn to live without it.. Booo ooo...!
3. I have started saying MAAAAA.. (people are amazed to know it came out of my mouth so late).. atleast mom deserved to be addressed that ways before I addressed our maid Seeta clearly with her first name..LOL... Yeah.. and a few other words I say are Daada, Daadi, P-G (Well, short form forPigeon)-my favorite bird.. Even a parrot is PG for me at the moment :) .. and many more such words :)
4. I can imitate NanaJi's stooped walk :) and Daada's exercise poses :)
5. I can sweep the floor (guess what all my parents make me do... lol)
Gosh.. it's so difficult to remember all of these things you know what I mean....
Well, I've gotta go now... but stay tuned for more...
Ciao..
Mwaah!!
