26th October 2011

Today is 26th October, 2011

Today is Diwali-India's biggest festival.

Mom and Dad went to pick up Nani from Ghaziabad so that we all could spend some time together on this national holiday:)

After returning home, Dad got busy with his office work throughout the rest of the morning.

And then we had some visitors-Mom's cousin had come over to greet us on Diwali and got some sweets as well:) They'd travelled a long distance to be here. We cherised their company. I showed them my iPad skills.. lol

After they departed, dad was still busy working on his laptop as I enjoyed the afternoon with others at home. After dad woke up in the evening, we all decided to go for a family dinner. Dada didn't want to go because he wasn't feeling too good because of cold. So, Dadi, Nani and three of us went to the Barbecue Nation in Gurgaon.

Its' an amazing buffett restaurant where they install the tandoor(barbecue) right on the table and then people can cook (heat) the food served right there. They serve a variety of non-vegetarian dishes which makes my parents revisit that place :) Dad said that he didn't even notice what all vegetarian dishes were served ;) LOL-he's kind of fanatic about non-vegetarian food.

I had loads of fun there moving all around the restaurant and up and down the stairs.. Mommy had a pretty good exercise taking care of me :)

Overall, it was a wonderful evening with awesome food.

Thank you God for giving us this great opportunity of togetherness. We choose to praise your name above all other names :)
